Rose hips are not only rich in vitamin C, they also contain a good amount of bioflavonoids, citric acid, malic acid, zinc, Vitamins A, B3, D, and E. Rose hips are very safe and can offered daily to maintain a good health and prevent the occurrence of diseases in rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs and other small pets.
Rose hips also posses mild laxative properties.
Directions: Chinchilla, guinea pig, degu, small and medium rabbits - 1 rose hip can be given daily; larger rabbits - 2 rosehips can be given daily daily.
